Having great success with an old Ender 3 I decided to go bigger and got a Sidewinder X1. The test print is great even using bits and pieces of filament but Cura slicer is not working on the X1 for me as I don't think I am able to import all the correct files. Does anyone have a version of Cura with all the correct Sidewinder X1 files that works well?
    Thanks,
    Herb

  • I am new to this site but have been using an Ender 3 (clearance unit) for about two years now. Not sticking was a problem at times with PLA. I now use a glass bed with some water soluble glue stick. I warm the bed put on some glue stick and use a damp rag to spread a thin invisible layer. Works like a charm and gives a very smooth finish. You may have to put the bed and part in the freezer or use a razor blade and small hammer to release to print.
    Good Luck
