Artillery Genius Simplify 3D Factory Profile       This is the default profile we use at the studios here. Great starting point, and easy to modify for various layers if you wish, as the settings work well across 0.20, 0.16(default), and 0.12. Just import it into S3D. File>Import FFF Profile and you are good to go.   It can be downloaded from our file sections  HERE   ~Enjoy!

Artillery Genius Cura Base MACHINE Profile This is the full machine settings and profile package.     Created for and tested with Cura 4.2.1 Nozzle sizes included:0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and 1.0...   It can be downloaded from our file area HERE   Instructions: Backup your settings. Copy the files to their respective folders, and import the profile base.   /resources/definitions /resources/extruder /resources/meshes /resources/variants   Also includes the base profile, which is: Set for 0.16 Layer Height Tested with Cura 4.21   The base profile is in the root folder of the package.   Heres a quick help video for those that need it... (The video is for the Sidewinder X1, the installation is exactly the same)     ~Enjoy!

Artillery Sidewinder X1 Mods: Extruder Ribbon Cable Strain Relief

Early on when Artillery released the Sidewinder X1, Like a number of other users I had one of the machines in our studios display the behavior we all know now as "ribbon cable" related- Extruder clicking, erratic X-carriage movement, and even the LCD showing a -15 temperature reading. The reason was evident (after checking the Z pillar connection for integrity) it was at the extruder-to-cable connection. Of course the recommended fix is to reseat or swap the ribbon cable; pretty easy but I wasnt satisfied with the possibility of it happening again so I decided to fix it then, or at least experiment and come to a conclusion after a period of time. If your board has already been burnt, you must obviously replace that as well. I dont like replacing boards, and without a correction of some kind you are just setting yourself up for failure again.
