Unable to connect to printer, wonder if the Usb in printer is fried, anyway of checking the integrity of the SW electronics?Probably missing something in the getting started area, could not find any noobie articles on how to connect.
Can anybody point me in the right direction? Please.

    • CH341SER Drivers. You may need to look in device manager when connected to printer and uninstall the serial port it opens then reinstall the CH341.

All talk, no action!. Did not see anything in their 2 gig drive usb stick that resembles any help with the issue, the standard seems to build, sell and dump all problems on the community to fix. WinDoze is of little help here, Just wondering how the rest of you got the X1 connected to your laptop? Yeah, I am pissed over this. Anybody with a good solution?

For one, almost every printer weve handled dropped right in on customers computers without issue. The connectivity issues are usually narrowed down to old as shit computers running Old OS's, old hardware, and on Win 10 machines corrupted drivers or rigs with multiple USB hubs, etc. The reasons you might be having problems can have a myriad of possibilities but I can assure you, the printer drops right in and works fine on most systems. Rather than blaming the printer, you need to look at your own setup and realize it might be you, and continue to look into why (since most people dont have issues, again, said for emphasis) and go from there.   More ...

I had one laptop that acted like what you describe and it corrected the issues, which came down to a set of shit drivers a custom version of cura from Wanhao installed. If you have been working with multiple printers over time thats bound to happen too.
